I just put up a response to a woodworking question in this forum, and it got me thinking.
"I'll bet most forum members don't know who Jerry Metz is", I said to myself.
Jerry Metz was the "Dear Abby" of the trade magazine, "Wood and Wood Products."
I always read his column. He was a touchstone for woodworkers everywhere.
Do a google search using the term, "Jerry Metz wood and wood products" to see for yourself. I think many may benefit from the things they will read.

I came up selling ShopSmith in the 70's. So that name for me was R J DeCristoforo. Back then we used a lot of RJ's tricks and tips.

Oh yeah. "Power Tool Woodworking for Everyone" was our bible, and it sold a lot of Mickey V's for us too
