BINGO

It's a safety feature. If he slipped and cut the cord, the saw would stop. I wonder if Steve Gass thought of this

Got that beat. There used to be this clown here on WN who used the end of his combo square as a push stick.

LMAO!!! You could wrap a rubbery power cord around your fingers and use it as the push stick and if it slipped it would cut the cord thus cutting power to the saw and you dont cut your finger off. The Power Stop!..

This feature could work on almost any power tool.
