Blowing electrical breaker
#4
Table saw with 1 1/2 horespower moter. Blows 20 amp breaker on initial startup after sitting for a couple of hours. Direct plug in to seperate line. After breaker is reset it does not blow again. What could be the possible problems? Thanks for any insight into this.

Bad start capacitor. Bad run capacitor. Or both.

If it's a new problem on a tool you have been using without issue it is probably one of these. If the saw is new to you, and this is it's behavior it could be one of these, but I would make sure that receptacle you are using is 20amp, and not a 15, which are much more common.
