What type router bit is used for the outside edge of cabinet doors?

Or you can keep it square if you want the shaker look.

Before you commit to using any door edge profile first verify if it will work with your hinge choice. Some of these profiles will not work with european style cup hinges. You may need to alter one or the other.
Any free advice given is worth double price paid.

What kind of doors ? If raised panel . I would suggest you somewhat match the profile of your stile bit.
Shaker ... slight 21 degree chamfer.....
Ogee...... Ogee or slight round over...
Etc.. Etc ..
I personally would not use a round over with a shaker door...YMMV



If it can't kill you it probably ain't no good. Better living through chemicals.

I would go to the borg, and look at the door profiles they have. I like no. 32 that Joe posted above.
