welp, back a while ago i was flattening an oak slab that became a mantle with a 1 1/2" bit and without thinkin about it raised the bit through the baseplate and cut off the inlay part where my guide bushing would sit. now i need to use the guide bushing.
and now i got a few of these to do before christmas

yup, showed my neice, she wanted one. sheshowed afriend, then another, then another....now ive got a dozen to make.
im seeing quite a few online but leary as ive taken my router to the local(ish) woodcraft to find one and the one they had that said would work on the 890 didnt have the mounting holes line up.
so does anyone know of one that will definatly work? lookin at this one but not sure

If the mounting hole to hole distance on your existing router plate is 4"and they are all equidistant then the one you linked will work fine.

If they are not then the plate will not work, you need to find the one for that particular router subbase layout.

Or get a blank plate and drill it yourself using the existing one as a template

I no longer build museums but don't want to change my name. My new job is a lot less stressful. Life is much better.
