I was at Homer Despot today getting a few things for my indoors winter projects. I walked by the clearance tool rack & found a Ryobi RS290G ROS on it for $29.99.
They were marked down from $49.99.
Brand new in the box.
Your store might have them on clearance too.

For what I'll use it for, it's probably perfect.
I have a 30 year old 1/4 sheet palm sander that's seen better days.

Maybe up there in Canada. Down here, it goes for $50 or so.
Amazon wants $50 for it. I'm sure there are other places that sell it for less than $50 though.

Worst gloat ever? Advertised price on HD for my area in the USA is $29.97.

Wasn't a gloat to begin with. Just a heads up for someone out there. What you forget to take into account is the fact I live in one of the most expensive areas of the USA.
Something that goes for $50 where you live goes for $85 here.
