They work.

Looks good too. My problem would be the patience putting everything back in there. I haven't built anything out of cedar in a long time. Got a little in the shop but getting decent boards here is pricey now. Real easy to get narrow almost all sap wood stuff IE 3" wide.

You did not say which set of chisels so I took pictures of all of them

The chisels are set into slots with recessed holes
That way the chisel can not fall out as they have to be lifted up and then out to get them out
