i have the same exact issue-- except i don't have that dead space to the side of the cabinet to have the drawer go back there when closed.

I keep having to remind myself that a rectangle is just a parallelogram with right angles at the corners. I recall one time on Jeopardy that the contestants all missed this. Alex was astounded.
