Christmas Crib
#11
Finished up a crib for the first grandbaby on Christmas morning. Thanks to MichaelMouse. I shamelessly copied from his picture post.

Curly maple. 200% concentration of Golden Brown dye. Lacquer topcoat.

Slats were sized to fit a MorticePal slot. Fun and easy project.

They told me anybody could do it, but I showed them.

Reminds me of my granddaughter, whom we tease about having her mother's face. She says "but I look better with it." I think you showed me up pretty well.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I liked your design better than anything else I saw. Added the knockdown bolts for transport ease.

Really nicely done.

Can you tell us the color and brand of the dye?

It really looks nice and pops the curl.
