A couple of years ago, my son brought me this Cedar Burl. I just put it in the shed and didn't know what I was going to do with it. Finally decided to do something with it.

Beautiful job. Nice swirling pattern to the wood. What finish did you use? It almost looks wet!

Finish was the old BLO, Shellac and Waterlox finish that was the standby on this sight for years...

Boy that looks swell. It looks like a root ball almost and I think it would have been fun to turn.

As of this time I am now teaching vets again.  If you have any lumber scraps we can use them to glue up to make some bowl from a board which we have not done yet..  Thank You Everyone.

It is always the right time, to do the right thing.
