Hi,
I have a bunch of pencils where I've worn down the eraser and others where the pencils have erasers, but they're pretty short.
See where I'm going with this?
I want to graft the short pencils with the erasers on to the longer ones without erasers. Any tips??
(and don't suggest a mechanical pencil!!!)

Not putting pencils together but does give a way to hold onto really, really short pencils :

I hear if you suspend them in water they'll sprout roots then you can plant your own pencil tree.

You're kidding, right?
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.
