Water Heater ?
#4
2 weeks ago I replaced both elements & anode plus added a circ. pump. Last night started getting water that isn't real hot, at least not like it was. My guess is the upper element isn't working right. Could I have gotten the wiring reversed or maybe just got a lemon?

If you didn't change any wiring except the element connections, it can't be reversed. Your top thermostat is probably switching too soon. It should heat the top first and then switch power to the bottom element.

Ian; Thanks. Some days it doesn't pay to get out of bed. Both elements were set at the lowest setting, so I moved them to 1/2 way. Hopefully that'll fix it. But why would have it worked for over 2 weeks before now?
