Mesquite lumber score

I picked up a stack of mesquite, several are 2" thick and 8 feet long, quite a few 3 to 4 feet long. When the guy told me $200 I paid him right away, was 2 trips to get them to my storage. All with natural edges and will make nice projects, I plan to sell some too. Excuse the messy pile, will sort them nicely when I get the time.

I like the edges of that lower piece. One of my favorite boxes had a Mesquite lid, and it had a mix of that yellow, with black, and swirled reds in it. Looks like it's going and coming. I expected it to be tougher to work with than it was.

I do power carving and mesquite is my favorite wood. Have a great time with the mesquite!
