I'd like to make a display case for my dad [WWII Navy vet] using some teak and maple I have on hand. I have in mind a rectangular box with the triangular flag boxed in at the bottom, with room above for pictures and medals.

Looking particularly for examples or ideas on how to dress it up without being too ornate. Pics would be helpful. Thanks, Bob
