I've always gotten longer life from a wax ring.

Do you know what a Sani-Seal is?

They are superior to a wax ring.
Any free advice given is worth double price paid.

I tried using a sani seal in my house but didn't get the memo they could be stacked so it failed to work as planned. A thick wax ring is what is in place now, yet I do use Sani seals in my rentals as the tile heights are right for them and during remodels I can install a toilet for use and remove it if needed to do work and put it back at the end of the day without having to clean up wax and replace with new.

If the height is right for using one or 2 Sani seal would be my go to on this as I can't imagine one failing during an aggressive use of a plunger
