Does anyone have a link to a type study for the Stanley 140. I can usually google this things pretty easily but I'm coming up empty.

Type I (1896--1900)
1. Cutter adjustment is similar to Trout and Richardson patent of 1875
2. Side plate marked with patent date of 11/6/1894

Type II (1900--1943)
1. Cutter adjustment is knob type adjustment
2. Early examples have patent date on side plate but it was soon dropped.
