Mobile Base for Older Unisaw
#13
I bought a couple of mobile bases from Earl/Lumberyard years ago for a 48 unisaw and 49 shaper, similar to these.

I have three of them and they're solid. The uni base fit is tight but I raised them on 3/4" plywood and they fit well.

I have a Rockler all-terrain base on an oliver joiner, by far the best mobile base i've purchased but not cheap.

Like Larry C said, the Shop Fox heavy duty base does raise the wheels only a small amount. I have a smooth concrete floor, and I vacuum up all chips and sawdust before I start rolling the saw around.
