Here is a good candidate for the title of "Ultimate rip saw".
It's a 28 inch Disston no. 12, with 6 tpi and a nib.
Here are the pictures:
It is in good condition. The blade is straight, and measures 28" long.It has a nib. The blade is 2-3/4 wide at the toe and 7" wide at the handle. It has 6 teeth per inch, and the tooth line is crowned or breasted. It is fairly sharp, but needs a touch-up filing, and maybe some reduction in set.
The handle has been broken and re-glued. It's solid, but there is some slight miss-alignment.
The etch is faint, but visible. The blade is as found, and could use a careful cleaning.
I'm asking $75.00 for it, including shipping in the cont.USA.I will ship internationally, at cost.
