Here's what a link looks like before you insert it in the "image" box -- note the ".jpg"

I tried putting ".jpg" after yours and it still doesn't work -- you must be losing some of the characters.

The "https" could very well mean that it requires a password. The "s" part means secure or encrypted. Probably not in your shared photos?

Google Photos is a problem child. When you past the link from "copy image location" you get from Google Photos here, using the Image UBB code button below, you have to add "?.jpg" to the end of the string.

So with this giant string:

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/GMTIDM...pe=w640-h480-no

you get this:



but if you make it this:

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/GMTIDM...40-h480-no?.jpg

you will get this.
