Milk Paint Part II

Experiments with home made milk paint continues.

This time around, I mixed pigments, lime, water and casein protein powder to make it and everything worked out. Using the protein powder is much easier then using milk and separating out the casein.  I still need to do the final burnishing and then some oil. Flies seem to like the paint, the smell reminds me of a dairy.

I've used milk paint before. Always got good results and liked the way it looked.
