Jeessem router lift -- router is too small?
#4
Question
Picked up a JessEm original router life in great shape off CL the other day.

I counted and found 7 routers hiding in my shop.  Two ancient monsters from a cabinet shop auction, three plunge and a 1/4" Bosch and a nice Makita.  Only the Bosch fits the lift; the Makita (which is the one I intended to use) is about 1/4" too small.

Any way to adapt the Makita?  Does anyone make a sleeve, etc?
Confused

The Bosch is a nice SMALL router -- not what I'd want in a table.

I have 2 Jessem router lifts.   One is the big size, its meant to hold a 3-1/2" Router, which is a PC 7518 .. or the Milwaukee ..

The other is I think 2-1/2".  or close ..     It naturally fits a whole raft of 1-3/4" - 2 HP Fixed base routers..

I'm not aware of an adapter, but you could email Jessem.

Good News!! Found another router under my workbench.

Traded for it sometime ago and it came with wrong base so I set it aside as a "future project"

It's a DeWalt 618 and it fits perfectly
