So Awesome!!! Great job.
Let the power work begin! Any chance you ran some 2" or 3" PVC through the floor to get a panel in there?
Glad its my shop I am responsible for - I only have to make me happy.

Well, the concrete guys were supposed to put in a conduit entrance for the panel, but "they forgot".
. So I'll bring in the power on that wall with the small OH door, coming in from the outside into the wall. The original plan was to run a new meter service from the pole and have a 200 amp panel. My power company is getting real pissy about new installations and wants to see a minimal usage to run new service...which I probably don't meet (estimated). So the back up plan is 100 amps from the house.
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.

Ayup. Real pissy because of their cost of a new installation that takes forever to pay back.

I am sure whatever you put in will be awesome power wise.

Nope, just like you (I think): DP&L. I'm about as far north as they go, so when things go out I'm the last to come back on.

that's really nice, I'm jealous. I figure if I put in a nice shop that I would find a reason to move right after that, so I'm hesitant.

No such luck for me, DUKE, which I assume stands for Don't Understand Kentucky Electric. We've had DP$L, Pioneer was by far our best connection to an electric company, we still get yearly checks because we were vested with them, and now DUKE, by farrrrrrrr the worst of the 3.

That is one sweet setup Fred. I can't wait to see what it looks like fully stocked.
