Decorate With Vintage Wood Tools
#5
That is what the sign said at a garage sale yesterday. The sign was on a shelf with about 20 planes of various kinds. I bought 7 Stanley no. 3, 4 and 5's to "decorate" my shop. They are all useable with a little cleaning and range from Typr 7 to 12. The cost worked out to about $4 each.

So just like the "Schwarz effect" drives tool prices up, the "Cracker Barrel effect" drives them down.

I know which one I prefer.
