HANDTOOLS: Starrett; Brace Bits, Drawknife; Brace
#5
I try and find worthy tools in good shape for users, tools that if I didn't already own, I would be happy to own.  Here's the most recent haul.....

First up is a set of Craftsman (made by Irwin) brace bits in the box and with their protective caps; sizes 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16, most common sizes used; all are relatively pristine, very little use on these bits, plenty of flute life, and with one exception, lead screws are not buggered.  Excellent working set for the shop.  Only apology is the #4 size has a slightly buggered lead screw, so I included another #4 bit (red end) that is worthy of being part of the set and in excellent shape, you get both #4s as the original one can still be useful.  Yours for $50 plus shipping.  Pics:

Next, here's a very nice and crispy Craftsman 10" brace, from when Sears gave a chit about the handtools they sold; likely made by Millers Falls for Sears, quality brace, ball bearing top knob, enclosed ratchet, works like it should, very good chuck, no nickle loss, very nice tool.  Yours for $25 plus shipping; but if you buy the bits with it, it's $20; excellent value, pics:

Next we have perhaps the best drawknife I've found in a decade; this is a 10" Dunlop, good maker, excellent condition, zero apologies, not any significant use at all, I strongly suspect the blade grind is original with first owner sharpenng; handles tight and solid, pics tell the story, yours for $40 plus shipping; price 'em new, as this one virtually is, and you'll see this is a great value if you're in the market for one.  Pics:

Last but not least are three Starrett dividers; from left to right, a 4", 6" and 6"; all work like they should and all have the quick adjustment screws, a premium feature; however, the two with the point protectors are in particularly nice condition, the 4" is made of bar stock, top of the line, so the first two on the left are $20 plus shipping, the one on the right is $15.  Buy all three and I'll ship for a flat $5; pics:

First PM with an unequivocal "I'll take it" gets priority; please include your shipping address so I can figure and quote actual postage.  I don't have Paypal, so payment by USPS money order please unless I know you then checks are ok.

Again, quality and worthy tools for the shop that I'd be proud to own.  Thanks for looking.

I have 3 guys lined up for the drawknife and dividers, so they are sold.

JoshS:  you have to enable receipt of your PMs.

Let's close out this thread, take the bits and brace together for $75 shipped to USA.  That's not a bad deal.
