I picked up an old No. 6 Bailey plane and discovered that the chipbreaker doesn't work properly--it's from another plane. So I'm looking for a replacement. I think the chipbreaker on a No. 6 is 2 3/8 inches wide--the same as on the No. 5 1/2 and No. 7 planes. If you have an extra lying around, please let me know. Also, I'm still looking for an iron for my old wooden jointer-- 2 5/8 inches wide.
