I have a new in the box set of gears for a Makita 2040 or 2030 full size planer
These gears are to reduce the feed rate down by either 1/3 or about 50%
They are currently listed on Ebay if anyone is interested

When they did the upgrade, they defaulted everyone to "no PMs". You have to go into the options to enable it.

We probably need a mod to explain further, then, since the rules seem to say otherwise.
