Loft Bed

About 4-6 weeks ago I asked about plans for one. Someone from here e-mailed me a copy. I caught what I think is a design flaw. The desk is only 25 3/4" off the floor. That might work for a year or 2. Then the kid would be banging his/her knees. FWIW I raised it to 29 1/4". No Complaints, I'm just glade I caught it before it was to late. It'll reduce to shelves & stuff but I think this is better for my 9 yr old GS.

Agreed about the desk height. Daughter is only 4, but she's got a full size single loft bed, and a regular height desk under it. Means when she's a teenager, it's still usable.  I'd build her a slightly taller seat if she needed to use the desk, but right now it seems to work just fine for stacking toys and "pretty stuff" on.
