Can you guys point me in the direction of any good lumber mills in between Detroit and Chicago. I get to drive quite a bit back and forth primarily using I94. I wouldnt mind an hour or two detour if it takes me to a good mill. thanks in advance for the tips.

The owner used to show up hear occasionally with offers of bringing a truckload of lumber to the Chicago area.
Near Decatur Michigan. Certainly meets your requirement of "on the way".
