Faster cutlist / cutplan for iPhone

The iPhone cutlist app KerfMaker version 1.1.0 is now available, featuring a much faster algorithm for placing parts in boards. The new version is free as an upgrade or is $2.99 for new purchasers at the Apple app store. You can learn more about it at the KerfMaker website.

As examples of the speed now: on an iPhone 6 it's able to place 500 parts in 100 boards in less than a second; it's able to place 5000 parts in 110 boards in less than 3 seconds. (Your mileage may vary depending on your phone and details of the project, but this should be representative.)

For those who are not familiar with Maker, its features include:

• Manages board selection; tells you when you have enough boards for all your parts
  
• Tracks your parts list
  
• Automatically calculates a board cutting plan
  
• Lets you share projects and parts list through textual import/export
  
• Has a smart algorithm for part fitting that respects board and part orientation
  
• Comprehends both Imperial and metric units
  
• Accounts for multiple material types and lumber thicknesses

If anyone gets the chance to try the new KerfMaker app out, please PM me with your experience. The new version is very fast and should work for lots of Parts and Boards. Also, it would be nice if you review it in itunes (and give it lots of stars, if you agree! 
 )
