Put it through the jointer on one side and hand plane the other side. I have a 12" jointer so was able to do half then turn it around and did the other half. I could have cut off the extra inch and put it through my 20 inch planer but I really wanted the extra 2 inches

There are two theories to arguing with a woman... neither works.

That is some very fine work with exceptional wood.  It's not often I get a log like that w/o a single defect in the boards you'd want to pair together.
