We lost both JR1 and Howard Acheson during the transition. Anybody know anything about them, health, are they OK, etc.?

Seems like JR1 made a post last around July 1 (I looked), and that was after the transition (?). Howard has dropped off several forums, I suspect he's got other things to do. I know at one point he was doing some traveling. I do miss him and his advice.
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.
