Steve

The thing in front of the blade that looks like a shoe horn what is it?

I had the same router given to me in SS but not with that and if it is needed were can I find one?
As of this time I am not teaching vets to turn. Also please do not send any items to me without prior notification.  Thank You Everyone.

It is always the right time, to do the right thing.

Arlin,

The only things that I can find that reminds me of a shoe horn is the 2 blades in the picture below. If they are what you asked about, they are different width blades for the router plane.

If they are not what you were asking about, can you help us by telling us which picture the thing is in?

Sorry if I am just being blind.

Maybe Arlin is referring to the "throat closing attatchement" at the front of the router. Why it's called that IDK.
