Epoxy Garage Floor

My personal experience:  DIY coating suffered hot tire pick-up......commercial coating was done three months, superb results.

i just had my garage done, ~800 sqft.  company had a propane-powered grinder, ground the whole floor.   used "florock" epoxy, all solvent-based, two-part.  first did a primer coat, then a thick epoxy coat with chips, then a two-part urethane coat over that with grit.  took three days of labor, cost $2400.  not something i would do myself.

good luck with your floor.

I want to pour a slab under my carport.  They want $3000 to do it.

If I do it myself, would it be as good?

Does this answer your question?
