Curb Appeal?
#8
Spotted an old drawer laying at a curb, just before Trash Day pick-up....

Decided to try to make SOME use out of it.   Maybe a place to store a bunch of these extras?

But, then I'd need a place for the drawer to go..

How about a small stand....and slide it under the bench?

There is a space for a second drawer, so I am working on building one at the moment...

To match the "top drawer" .  Might extend the stand's top into a shelf, to hold other things...

Cost so far?  One 1 x 10 x 8' that I had to buy.   The rest was on hand.  Second drawer ia to hold all the extra wood handled chisels in the shop.   mainly the ones not in use right now...

Got the rest of the parts installed..

Kicker for the bottom drawer installed..

It now has a back panel..

Cleats installed.    Just in case I should ever want to expand the case, I can remove the top easily

Brushed on a coat of Witch's Brew Finish......

And the drawers do work.   Think I can call this completed...
