Help in Repair of writing desk/chest
#4
Sad
A friend has a writing desk with a pull out writing surface, in leather I think.
One corner is raised so the 'drawer' cannot be closed.
I recommended that they soak the leather with water (glycerin?), dry the moisture, mask the wood, fill under leather with titebond, cover with wax paper, used wood clamping blocks and clamp over night.

Did I lead they correct or done the wrong way?

Thanks

Steve
