I'm here to offer an endorsement for the quality of wood Splinters sells.  About 10 years ago I bought about 500 bd ft of Honduran mahogany from him while I was still living in Maryland--he may remember-- and also some cherry.  It was great stuff and I have used it for several projects and by carefully choosing projects that I think are worthy of this wood, still have some left over waiting other projects.  I have no connection financial or otherwise to the seller.  Here are a few pics of his wood in projects I have made over the last several years:

Hey Ken, where did you get the plans for that cradle?
...Naval Aviators, that had balz made of brass and the size of bowling balls, getting shot off the deck at night, in heavy seas, hoping that when they leave the deck that the ship is pointed towards the sky and not the water.

Hey Ken,

Yes I remember.  Great looking projects!  I've done a ton more myself and am getting ready to move, thus the sale.  Headed to the Villages in FL soon.  Thanks for the endorsement!  Hope you are well.
