HANDTOOLS: Boring.... Rj Bits; 8' Braces; MF #2 Eggbeater
#9
Ok, get ready for the BORING stuff, well, not boring, but thingies that make holes in wood.  Some worthy tools available.....

First up is a full set of 13 Russel Jennings 100 bits, #4 through #16; fine lead screw, in the roll.  All are original and nice and clean, lead screws not buggered up, and with one exception have very nice flute life; only apology is that the 5/16 bit (this guy must have drilled a whole lot of 5/16" holes) has very short flutes, but the rest are just dandy. You don't see many full RJ sets here, these can be yours for $85 plus shipping, price 'em new and you'll see the value here.  Pics:

Next is a "short set" of 7 RJ bits, fine lead screws that are not buggered up, plenty of flute life on all, no apologies; ##4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16, the most common sizes in use.  Not much else to say, see the pics, clean set of bits, yours for $40 plus shipping; Pics:

Next up is the venerable Millers Falls #2 eggbeater; this is an early one, has oft missing chef's hat side handle, 100% mechanically, smooth operation, has lost most of its japanning on the body, with some evidence of rust, but has no slop in the action, wood is solid and handle tight, chuck paws good, everything works as it should, a quality user for someone.  Yours for $30 plus shipping; pics:

Now for some braces; I usually don't buy any 10" throws unless they are 2101 Yankees and have kept to the 8" throw because they are less common and quite useful when you need some control, but this Stanley 945A 10" throw was in good condition and I know I could find it a home here, it is pictured with a Millers Falls 8" throw #33, also in good shape; each is 100% mechanically and works like it should, the Stanley on the left, MF on the right in the pics: $20 plus shipping for the Stanley, $25 plus shipping for the 8" MF, pics:

Last but not by a long shot least, is a Stanley #921 8" brace; I've seen these in 10" but this is the first I've seen in 8" throw; really nice condition; 100% mechanically, enclosed ratchet quality, good wood, and this one has what Stanley called the "concealed ratchet" which is the knurled collar by which you control the left, right and fixed ratcheting of the brace, a premium brace in its day, yours for $32 plus shipping and I think I'm underpricing it but if it finds a good home that's ok with me; pics

As always, first PM with an unequivocal "I'll take it" gets priority, and please include your shipping address so I can print mailing labels and quote postage.  Sorry, I don't have paypal, so payment by USPS money order please, unless I know you from the forum then checks are just fine.

Quality tools I would own myself, reasonably priced for user fo1k.  Thanks for looking.

Here's a deal, I'll combine the RJ Short Set of bits with the Stanley 945 10" brace for $50 plus shipping, can't beat that with a stick, a nice "boring" package (both will fit in a medium flat rate box, for that matter, the MF #2 will fit too if you are so inclined!).
