Turned Urn - shot in the dark
#6
Hi,
My mom just passed and her funeral is Thursday. I was wondering if anyone in my area would have the time to turn an urn.

Open to other ideas.

Figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. I'm in Rhode Island.

Thanks,
Deb

Jim (Angus) made mine.   Seven or Eight years ago the VA thought my chances were not so good and wanted to make sure all of my funeral arraignments were done before I passed away.  He made mine and I can say I have not seen better.  He is an outstanding turner.

Here is how you can PM him

Also I am so sorry to hear of your Mother passing away it is tough.  Mine passed away 3 weeks ago but the bad thing is we were never close.
As of this time I am not teaching vets to turn. Also please do not send any items to me without prior notification.  Thank You Everyone.

It is always the right time, to do the right thing.

theres a guy on this forum, or at least he used to be, PackerGuy. He's in the business of selling urns. I don't know if they are turned or not. I don't know if he's still active on the forum. Post down in Off Topic and/or Woodworking, someone may know his website or how else to get in touch with him.
