Repurposed kitchen castoff
#6
I saved our old dish strainer and repurposed it for diamond stone storage. I also use it to dry my waterstones before returning them to the shelf.  The "drawer" is a restaurant bussing tray from Sam's Club.

Clever.....
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.

I use those same restaurant bussing trays for my cat's litter box.  The walls are tall enough that she does not kick the litter out of the box.  I use Sam's light weight can liners to line the trays.  Eventually the trays crack at the corners (I've been using them for 20 years and they all crack eventually), but still cost-effective.

I also use them to collect the water from the through the wall air conditioner, which otherwise would dump it onto the deck.
