Hey guys, the boys have been busy again loading some more flat rate boxes. These are a little different though. Each of these boxes are a little special. They include some of my scraps I have been hoarding to use some day. I finally decided I just need to clean out some of the clutter so here they are.
This first one is the edge cut-off from a 65" wide bubinga slab that I built a slab table with. These are 2x2 and 2x3 roughly. I loved the two tone color and planned to make tool handles out of them but it is just in the way right now. This stuff is increadable dense. I haven't tried turning it but I'm guessing this stuff would make awesome tools or tool handles. This box is $30 shipped. SOLD
Next up is a box of turning squares. This is a combination of tiger maple, curly cherry and Cuban mahogany. In a large flat rate box. Most of the Stuart's are 3"x3" and the photo should say the rest. This one is $35 shipped
This one is a box of really interesting figured maple with some cherry, Cuban mahogany old growth QSWO and cherry thrown in to fill a large flat rate box. The maple is just shy of 2" thick and the other stuff varies. $28
Next up is a box my boys dubbed the box-o-crotch. These are curly maple and walnut crotch pieces with some mahogany filler pieces. Most of the pieces are between 3/8 and 1/2" thick I believe the walnut is 1/2" and 3/4 thick. These would be great for small boxes. This one is $30.
This is the big box-o-crotch. These come in a flat rate game board box and are about 11" wide and between 20" and 23" long. These are curly maple crotch and walnut crotch. This one is $35.
