Ryobi scroll saw SC162VS

I've had this Ryobi scroll saw SC162VS for several years and yesterday the plastic link arm broke off rendering the saw useless.
I searched for the part & it turns out Ryobi has discontinued parts for this saw.
  • Has anyone else encountered this with this particular saw?
  • Is it worth parting out?

Put it in the bin and get a new one.

Probably twice the cost but I really like my Makita barrel grip, it's served me very well for probably 12 years and I use it for work.

Ereplacementparts shows parts available and Home Depot is still selling it, so you might be able to fix it.  Ray
