I did that on my grizzly. Put hinges and a latch on it. Closed that hole off so the collector could work.

Didn't have phone in pocket when it was down on the bench, but modified J. & L.J. Stickley #516 is done.

The #516 is almost a cube but this has been modified to be a bit taller and is deeper than wide. Dad needs a relatively large table next to his recliner. Wants to move his printer over to be at the back of this table and still have places to set things. 

Quarter sawn red oak (rather mild rays in this batch). 

Mostly an exercise in pre-finishing because this is nothing but inside right-angles! I have a few spots to touch up yet but otherwise, done.
