I need the model number of the trim saw Norm used on New Yankee Workshop.  The one he used to cut down lumber.

I'm heavy into Porter Cable, but that 314 didn't stay long here. The base and the adjustment part was utterly a pos. A carriage bolt that turned in the square slot that it was supposed to fit in, with a wingnut.
The rivets that attached the end of the base that was supposed to hinge, were apparently smashed by a gorilla running the riveter machine.
I must have just got a dude I suppose.

Best 200 bucks I spent. I just picked up one a few months ago from craigslist. Came with metal case, 5 extra blades, wrench and oil. try searchtempest.com it will search all CL

Hmmm...sounds just like the one I sold on CL a few months ago!  I loved that little saw, but it saw little use after I bought a DeWalt Tracksaw a couple of years ago.

Another alternative might be the little SAW  BOSS.   Not as small as the 314 but it's been a great break down saw for me.
