I picked up a Porta Cable 5182 router quite a while back but just never got around to putting it to use. This is monster of a router and I am considering putting it on my router table to replace a Hitachi M12v. Problem is that the little switch that changes speeds is loose and not connected to whatever it connects to on the circuit board. I can still switch speeds, but it takes jiggling the switch into the proper slot and wiggling it around.
Has anyone with this router experience the speed control switch coming loose? if so how did you repair it?
