The bazooka tool is awesome. I watched a guy do three rooms in my house in under an hour. I learned a long time ago that I was never going to be as good as I would need to be to be happy with the job, so I found a guy who is good and stayed with him.
Currently a smarta$$ but hoping to one day graduate to wisea$$

Finding someone that does work you like is a real stroke of luck.  People around here that are any good are really busy and charge accordingly.

the guy that did our house originally was an artist at drywall.  Probably a plasterer back when people around here still used plaster.  It's the only part of the house that isn't done as shoddily as possible. I'm sure he's long retired though.
