Sharpen your own metal files
#12
Part of the problem of files, is that people underestimate the importance of taking
care of them. They toss them in a can, or a drawer, or the bottom of a toolbox and
expect when they need them to have them perform satisfactorily.
While I am far from a pro, or even a gifted amateur, over time I have come to have
a small collection of files and take pains to use and store them correctly.

Behold, the "Stroke a Genius" file rack. Original idea from a man by the name of
Guy Lautard, author of a series of small books called "The Machinists Bedside
Reader."
