You're right, especially if I used bottom cross rails on the wood racks, but I may store some wood vertically.  I suppose I could put a double floor in that area if I do so, but using solid lumber for the floor just seems like a better idea than plywood.  Time will tell if that was a good decision.

If you're only storing lumber, do you need a floor?  For lumber storage, I would call it done with the stone you put down.
