Help finding hand held spindle sander
#6
I am building a Cole Rocker (chairguy.net) and am looking for a product that I saw recently, but can't fine it again.

I need a spindle sander that can be chucked into a hand held drill. The one that I saw has a disk (bearing) on the end. This disk can be held by hand (does not rotate) This allows two handed operation for drum sanding.

I can probability build one, but I'd rather buy it. Cost was less than $20.

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. Has anyone else built this rocker?
How can I contact "the Chair Guy"?

Amazon is selling the two sizes shown below (likely available elsewhere - just google 'handheld spindle sander'); also a video if you want to make your own?  Dave

(07-24-2018, 11:41 AM)giradmanThanks to all responders.Dave, I decided to build my own similar to the one described. I used a 2" dowel and added bearings in each end.
