sand paper rolls for drum sander
#9
Just purchased a drum sander and now looking for a good supplier with really good sand paper rolls.

My impression is Aluminum Oxide is the preferred abrasive on a cloth backing (No hook and loop)

looking at Performax papers on amazon and also found this one below:

So, where do you buy your papers for your drum sanders?

Thank you!!

We do segmented turning, not because it is easy, but because it is hard.

Woodmaster, when I had the 24" Griz sander.
They usually sold Klingspor paper

What he said.  Been happy with other sandpaper products I bought from these guys, so I figure their strip rolls would be fine too.  Prices are very competitive.

My Woodmaster used hook and loop, worked awesome and easy to change.
But you machine decides the type of paper.

Try 2Sand.com. I got great deals on my rolls when I was buying them.
