Cast sinks aren't cheap

Cast iron is an outdated choice.  One chip and it is chit, Stainless 16g for the win!  insulation keeps it quiet and steel wool or a wire brush wheel keeps it looking new.  If you worry about dents anything that would dent it would chip cast.  You can tap dents out if you get any
